Tonkin displayed their first 1/87 model at the 2004 iHobby Expo in Chicago. The die-cast Volvo VNL780 will be available initially in four colors; red, gold, green, and plum. Other news from Tonkin is they're planning to do a Freightliner Columbia and Western Star 4900EX next and a fourth model which is undisclosed at this time. Expected delivery for the Volvos is December 2004. Check with your favorite outlet specializing in 1/87 vehicles for more information.
