Wiking - The VW Phaeton has made an unexpectedly early appearance in the Wiking catalog. It will be one of June's new releases. The Phaeton is now being introduced to the European market and will come to the United States in 2003. Wiking's model is the top-of-the-line W12, which will retail somewhere between $90,000-$100,000 in the U.S.

While our European members do not have any trouble getting Wiking products, the same is not true in the United States. Flint Imports is the source Bill Cawthon has used for Wiking for several years. In fact, Flint was recommended to him by Wiking. Flint is an importer and distributor and he is now accepting some orders from collectors. He always has almost every current Wiking model in stock in has always been the first source in the U.S. to get the new releases. Since he has previously done wholesale business only, he does not have a web site and he does not take credit cards.
