Zycon Models, an Irving, TX based company, in conjunction with Garland, TX based AP Enterprises, recently completed a major model project commissioned by Cummins, Inc. Jointly they produced two different scale model replicas in 1/18 scale and 1/87 scale of a new Cummins engine, the QSK95. The QSK95 made its North American debut at the MINExpo Convention in Las Vegas, NV. The QSK95 is the latest power technology from Cummins Inc. This impressive 4,200 hp engine meets the new Tier 4 Final emission standards. The Cummins QSK95 will be utilized in mining, railroad, power generation, marine and offshore drilling applications. Shown above are the two different scale models and packaging as seen the the Las Vegas show.

Zycon Models utilized AP Enterprises for the project management of the China factory where the replicas were made. The presentation and promotional models were an integral part of the Cummins marketing plan to celebrate the launch of the QSK95 engine to the industry. The first group of models were delivered in September 2012 for the show and the final batch of models shipped November 2012. Zycon Models and AP Enterprises were proud to be a part of this project.
We'd like to add our congratulations to all involved! |
