Zycon Models, a new specialty supplier of custom-built and limited production models, shipped it's first all brass 1/87th scale conversion model. Authorized by Caterpillar Inc. and Klein Products Inc., this 5000 gallon water truck bed was fitted to a D250E Series II dump truck frame. The model's components were built by Classic Construction Models exclusively for Zycon Models. A total of 100 models were produced and all 100 have sold out. Dan Goins of Zycon Models reports, "This is an exciting way to start Zycon Models with our first product selling out immediately." Dan maintains a free direct mail newsletter for brass 1/87th scale mining and construction enthusiasts.
