This extremely sharp Freightliner FLD120 and Utility 53' refrigerated trailer are the lastest projects from Jim Groeneweg. The Freightliner is one of Jim's own Jacobs Models resin cab kits mounted on a Herpa frame and painted with automotive lacquer paints in the Moznik scheme. The A-Line 53' Utility is only changed at the suspension and a Herpa Thermo-King unit was added. The suspension is a Lonestar Models air-ride suspension modified to a 72" spread tridem fitted to the A-Line slider rails (which were lengthened). The wheels are from Herpa and decals are A-Line conspicuity stripes, detail decals from Pen Bay, and Moznik decals from Ken Goudy.
