WWll German Luftwaffe Airfield Water Bowser - By Rick Hoskinson
Once again the internet has inspired Rick Hoskinson's modeling efforts. This water bowser is based on a Roskopf 1931 Mercedes Benz truck chassis, hood and cowl and the rest is scratchbuilt. Wheels and tires are 3D prints from eBay. Paint is Model Masters and the weathering was done with washes and pastel powders. Many older vehicles were pressed into military service by the German Army and Air Force to alleviate the strain of vehicle shortages.
