Here's Bob Johnson's almost completed (still needs windshield wipers, air starter tank, and additional detailing) Viking Freight Kenworth T800 truck tractor waiting at a railroad crossing on the Texas Northern Model Railroad Club (www.texasnorthern.org) in Dallas, Texas. The truck tractor was built using Dennis Aust's extraordinary resin cab, hood, battery box and fuel tank mounted on a shortened Herpa Ford chassis with air suspension. The front aero bumper is a resin casting not commercially available. The airshield is from Jacobs Models, mirrors from Plano Model Products. All "glass" is .010" clear sheet. Decals are from Microscale.
