John DaPos built this Mack LJ open cab fire truck using a Don Mills Mack LJ resin cab, removing the cab roof. The pumper body is from Woodland Scenics. John modified it by widening the fenders and using a mid body from an old Matchbox die-cast toy. He also used Bare Metal Foil on the grille surround and front bumper. John added many details to this ornate engine that was functional up through the late seventies in his home town.
