Finishing in 2nd place in the Facebook 1/87 Scale Vehicle Models' group 2017 Build Challenge is this 1960 Ford F500 propane delivery truck by Wayne Crews. Wayne used the requisite Classic Metal Works 1960 Ford truck cab (shown in bottom photo) but everything behind the cab was scratchbuilt. The tank is made from a glue stick tube and the domed ends were built up and shaped from layers of Evergreen styrene. The meter cabinet, hose reel, and gas tank were made from styrene sheet or shapes and the toolbox on the passenger side frame was a modified battery box with etched brass tread plate added for texture.
