Lacy Brown built this Herzog Caterpillar 450E Cartopper piece maintenance of way equipment. The loader/backhoe model is a Diecast Masters Caterpillar 450E loader/backhoe modified into a railroad tie handler. The pads on the front bucket and stabilizers were made out of styrene. The rear bucket was removed and grapple attachment from a Herpa folding boom crane added as well as hydraulic lines and hoses.
