Here's another view of Joe Piazza's M6 Bomb Service
Truck as it appeared on the West Side Lumber Co. of Tuolumne City, CA
during the 1950s. It was used to service log trucks and CATs in the
woods. The model was built from the Roco GMC CCKW. The frame was cut
down to the appropriate length. The crane came from the Roco Bomb Service
Truck. The tool boxes, rear fenders and rear platform are scratchbuilt.
The winch is a modified SS Ltd casting. The motor was made from home
made castings. Also on display in Photo
Gallery 70.
