These shots are of Kevin Shanahan's Caterpillar 657G twin engine scraper (a brass model from Classic Construction Models) being moved by a Peterbilt 379 truck tractor (also a brass model, from Classic Mint Collectibles) and Kevin's custom built 16 tire jeep (kitbashed from Kulak Custom Kit’s laser cut styrene trailer kit) with Kevin's scratchbuilt 32 tire scraper basket. This model was inspired by Volume 1 of Mark Wayman’s book, OVERSIZE (pages 72 and 73). Kevin's model load (the scraper) is a much larger and heavier load and therefore the scraper basket is almost twice the size and does not have a booster.
