Modifications to this Classic Metal Works model International R190 were inspired by Roger Dowden's excellent R190 fire pumper back in Photo Gallery 411. The cab was filed heavily to thin the A-pillars and give an overall more rounded look. After hand painting the roof, the windshield gasket was colored with an Ultra Fine Point Sharpie marker, then clear tape was applied. The black outline was followed while cutting the tape with a sharp hobby knife. The head lights were drilled depressions then lenses were formed with Micro Krystal Klear. Wheels are Athearn with A-Line tires and mirrors are from Sylvan Scale Products.
