Fred Gruin built this Western Express turnpike doubles rig using a Sheepscot Autocar integral sleeper resin cab mounted on an Athearn frame with Boley fuel tanks & wheels, Promotex air horn and headlights, aluminum tubing exhaust stack, mirrors from the parts box, and scratchbuilt spare tire holder on the nose. The converter dolly was built from Rail Power Products parts. Stock Walthers 40' trailers with A-Line wheels complete the unit.
