Jim Hamilton built this fleet of Australian Cattle Road Train models. Road trains Australia usually consists of two or more trailers. The main bodies are laser cut from special quality plywood with the inner side panels of .8mm plywood. A Promotex chassis is cut and fit to suit the step down trailer frame and the dollies are from Scaleworkshop and made from flat cut Stainless steel folded with Promotex wheels. Jim is the designer of the cattle truck and dolly and has a small home hobby business; he offers Herpa Prime movers and now AWM. Many new truck designs are on the drawing board, including a side tipper three trailer model.
