Dirk Wieczorek built this pair of ARFF pumpers of the USAF stationed in Germany at Bitburg and Ramstein air bases. Twenty years after he took the photos of the originals he finally built them totally from scratch. The KME P-24 (4x4) version (blue light bar) has Roco wheels and also a Roco light bar; everything else is scratchbuilt. The KME P-22 (4x2) version (red light bar) uses Herpa wheels and an Athearn light bar and details; everything else is scratchbuilt.
