Here is a model of a Finnish SISU fire engine from the late '70s. SISU is truck manufacturer in Finland and the production goes mostly to domestic markets. So the brand is not internationally known even in Europe. It has been quite common as a fire apparatus chassis throughout the years. The company started production in 1931 and it's still in business. The design of these older SISU rigs is quite unique.
Jussi Kivi made this scratchbuilt model about 10 years ago. For the body he used some parts from a Roco Mercedes fire truck; wheels and some small parts are from Roco as well.
