First-time contributor Kevin Irwin built this propane delivery truck for his HO scale model train layout. Kevin used a Boley International 4300 cab and chassis. Kevin found a weak example of a tractor-trailer propane unit at his local hobby store and shortened the trailer tank to make a bobtail style propane truck. The internet was used as inspiration for placement of equipment, decals, and painting. Kevin used the rear fenders and scratch built the rear utility decking from a tailpiece cut from the unused flatbed originally on the truck. A hose reel was used from a fire truck; a scratchbuilt rear control panel box with a work light, hoses using wire, upper rear safety lighting, tank lift hooks, a remote control hose reel antenna, and an air horn on the cab were all added.
