Dennis Raper built this Promotex Ford LA-9000 Aeromax mobile home "toter" truck from a Herpa/Promotex Ford LTA-9000 Aeromax tandem axle truck tractor. The truck chassis has been shortened and tires replaced with Athearn wheel sets with a scratchbuilt bed installed along with mirrors and a wide load sign made with dry transfer decals. The flags on the front bumper posts are paper strips painted with a Sharpie marker. Dennis added a Plano Model Products photo-etched grille and added the Ford emblem that he shaved off the original grille. He also added a light bar from the parts heap as well as some spare tires and A-Line scale chain.
