This Western Star truck tractor is modeled after a unit operated by Triton Transport of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The truck tractor began as a Tonkin/ton Western Star that Doug ground off front fenders and fabricated new ones from Promotex components. The chassis is scratchbuilt from Promotex parts. The jeep and booster are all scratchbuilt as well. The trailer is a Tonkin/ton lowboy with a new, longer neck built for it.
