Jim Groeneweg built this Volvo VHD dump truck using a resin cast cab from Andre’ Giroux. The only modifications Jim made to the cab are the wheel arch flares for the wide front tires. The cab is mounted on a Promotex builders' chassis with Dennis Aust fuel tank, hydraulic tank, toolbox, high flotation tires and wheels up front; rear wheels and tires are from Boley. Jim scratchbuilt the exhaust (using a Masterbilt muffler heat shield), mirrors, DEF and tank, all treated with Alclad chrome. Bare Metal Foil was used on grille and bumper. The cab was painted in Belle Isle Blue Metallic, a 2013 Peugeot color.
The dump body is semi scratchbuilt utilizing some resin sides, adding a cab shield, tailgate and underside, painted in Aluminum base/clear paint, mudflaps added with computer printed brand name, DEL ( Diesel Equipment Limited) applied. Side boards are painted body color made from Balsa wood.
