Ralph Ratcliffe says he was inspired by a photo that Chester Fesmire had posted on the 1/87 scale Facebook group page that looked like an old builders photo. Ralph was inspired to try to recreate that look and posted a picture of one of his Hahn fire truck models, basically in black and white, with a backdrop. Then Ralph's friend Andy Madden asked for the original picture and he gave it the treatment shown here.
 
The model is a 1973 Hahn Custom Pumper. Most of the parts for this model are available from the Ralph Ratcliffe Models website but some of the details are scratchbuilt.
