Jim Groeneweg built this Freightliner Coronado mid-roof sleeper and painted it for his fictional Groeber Transport. The cab is a resin cast item totally reworked; cab sill/lights added, hood shortened, fenders extended (lower), sleeper cab back repositioned and extenders replaced. The cab was reduce 150” BBC down to a 123” BBC 58” sleeper Midroof XT. It rides on the modified TON chassis which was shortened, Dennis Aust wheels and tires, fuel tanks, Kibri half fenders, JCT auxiliary box, scratchbuilt battery/DPF step boxes, antenna and mudflaps. The front bumper has side wrap around removed making it the correct OEM style. The original windshield was utilized, flush mounted; the side glass is clear acetate, also flush mounted.
