Scott Morrison submitted these photos of a Ford F-850 welding truck he built. It is modeled after an old McMillan Blodel welding truck built for use in the British Columbia, Canada forest industry. The truck cab/frame/wheels are from an Athearn model. The Athearn crane boom was removed and the deck was heavily modified using styrene, brass and tread plate decals from Archer. The Hiab Unit is from Roco, welding unit is from Custom Finishing Models and safety striping is from A-Line. The tools, vise and welding tanks are from Juneco. The smaller tools are from either Details West or Details Associates; Scott says he's had them kicking around too long to remember!
