Anyone who spent any time in Texas throughout the 1970s into the late '90s will instantly recognize this Central Freight Lines Ford LNT-9000 truck tractor which was ubiquitous throughout much of Texas during that time. Fred Gruin used an Atlas Ford model, painted for the Waco, Texas based fleet, paired with a stock Athearn 40' Fruehauf trailer. Fred added A-Line mirrors, air deflector, and wheels on the Ford's steering axle, Promotex air horns, and aluminum exhaust stack. The Central paper signs were made from company literature.
