This photo was taken on a small airfield base near Yuma, Arizona. It's a nice sunny afternoon, WWII is over, but Berlin needs food, supplies and more so the USA will have an air bridge to Berlin. Goods, food and more will be loaded onto this C-47 aircraft. Soldiers will travel with them to work at Checkpoint Charlie.

Trucks and Jeep are from Roco/Herpa, Classic Metal Works, and resin kits (pickup and car). Figures are from Preiser. A Southern Pacific Cab Forward steam locomotive just passes behind the airfield base.
