Clare Gilbert, proprietor of Sylvan Scale Models, built this outstanding little hot rod from the Sylvan resin kit #V-162 1952 Chevy four door. It was built basically stock out of the box except that he lowered the rear and added hood louvers built from .010"x.010" styrene strip. Clare painted the model Tamiya clear orange over a silver base and added homemade flame decals. The wide whitewalls are from Sylvan's newest detail set. The spinner wheel discs on the front are the stock wheel covers with the spinners made from .010"x.010" styrene strip.
