Here's a close-up of one of Jesse Weigand's latest CSX maintenance of way trucks featured in Photo Gallery 536, his Mack CH tri-axle dump truck. Jesse used a Ralph Ratcliffe resin dump body mounted on a Herpa chassis rolling on Dennis Aust wheels and tires. The dump truck also features a Lonestar Models pintle hitch, balsa wood sideboards, custom decals, Plano chrome tipped mud flaps and scratchbuilt Coverall tarp system. The railroad maintenance of way models in the background include a spiker, crane, and jet snow blower built from Custom Finishing white metal kits.
