This Ford F6 truck tractor started out as a Life-Like plastic dump truck. Michael Smith removed the dump bed, wheels, and gas tanks. He filed the front wheel wells out for an hour to get them to a more correct size. The interior, wheels, and rear fenders are from a Boley truck. The fifth wheel and stack are from Herpa, side mirror from Classic Metal Works. It is shown above paired with a CMW 40’ trailer. To fully appreciate this amazing transformation, the model is shown at bottom with the original dump truck to illustrate the remarkable changes.
