This Southern Plaza Express model from Fred Gruin was built from a Sheepscot International RDFC-405 Emeryville day cab mounted on a Wiking frame with Pirate Models bus kit metal wheels, A-Line mirrors, Promotex air horns, aluminum tubing exhaust, and fuel tanks from the parts box. The Promotex dolly converter has Athearn wheels added. The lead trailer is 28', custom built for Fred by Bob Sundstrom. The rear trailer is a 28' A-Line. Both trailers have Athearn wheels.
