The prototype Ford D-1210 truck was produced in Turkey under license from Ford during the 1970s. The model is a conversion of a Matchbox 1/85 scale toy with the body cut (narrowed, we presume), painted yellow, with windows and flatbed section scratchbuilt. Additional wheels in the form of a tag axle were added to frame in those days. This practice was followed on the model too. These trucks were very popular in those days. Shown at the bottom is a photo of the prototype cab and chassis.
