This Panzer lV/70 WWII tank from Rick Hoskinson was produced by combining two Roco models, a Mk lV battle tank chassis and superstructure from a Panzerjager lV (V). Rick scratchbuilt an L70 long 75mm anti tank gun, scratchbuilt gun travel lock,upper lift hooks, superstructure lift hooks, commander's periscope, modified gun mantlet, added Mk lV driver's visor and etched brass safety tread to tops of fenders. Rick also added scratchbuilt exhaust, added inner mud flaps to the rear fenders, modified the shape of tracks to create a little "sag" between the return rollers. Painted with Modelmasters enamel, dry brushed and weathered with pastel chalks, dry pigments, and art pencils. Finished with TL decals.
