Steve O'Meara built this model of a 1989 International S2600 and Kockums bulk tanker his father owned, based in St. Arnaud, Victoria, Australia. Steve says it is the first serious model of a road vehicle he has constructed in HO, as he primarily model trains.
The prime mover is a Promotex S2500 that has been cut down to a single drive axle configuration and has had a sun visor and aluminum guards fitted, made from HO scale roofing iron. The wheels are from Athearn; the Kockums trailer is a cut-and-shut Kibri rigid and dog spitzer silo truck. It has had scratchbuilt piping, compressor, and wheel guards fitted, along with Lonestar Models wheels.
