Jim Balogh submitted these photos of a fire boat mode he built. The boat is named in honor of Lewi Schoen. "Big Lew" was a firefighter who died in line of duty. The scene attempts to capture Port Authority boat 5 assisting land units at a fire in a container yard. Assistance is provided through supplying their large diameter hose (LDH) supply lines and using what's left in the pumps' capacity to "pipe" it from the waters edge. The boat is a Kibri model that Jim says he has so long the instructions were gone. The containers are from Walthers, the fence is from Plastruct, and scenery from Woodland Scenics.
