This is a scene at Ophir Loop, Colorado in the late '50s after the Rio Grande Southern Railroad has ceased to operate. A P&H cable shovel is beginning work to relocate tailings from a derelict mill site. Euclid tandem drive haul trucks move the material to its new site on the other side of town. The shovel is a kit-bashed Kibri kit with a Langley white metal undercarriage, tracks, boom, stick and bucket. The haul trucks are modified Puget Sound Castings Euclid resin kits.
