Werner Kattinger tells us although he first got interested in emergency vehicles by U.S. trucks because of their chrome and colorfulness, he now collects emergency vehicles from most European countries. He remarks it is astonishing how many vehicles from before unknown parts of the world like Russia are available nowadays. Here is a photo of a pumper/tanker on Kamaz chassis with Rosenbauer bodywork as it is running nowadays. Basis was a chassis with normal cab, cab extension scratchbuilt and body from a Roco Unimog tanker added. Decals in Russian letters are self designed.
