This 1955 Kenworth conventional tractor pulling a Texaco stainless steel fuel tanker is shown delivering diesel fuel to the town of Ophir Loop, Colorado and the surrounding ore mines and processing mills. Fuel was once delivered to this site by the Rio Grande Southern Railroad which was abandoned in 1950. The Kenworth truck tractor was built from Ulrich Model Kits white metal kits and detailed with A-Line wheels and tires along with various Alloy Forms detail parts. The Texaco decals are from Microscale.
