These photos from Dennis Raper's recently completed "Swamp Loggers" diorama depicts a Tigercat 860C feller-buncher. This is a resin model cast from a styrene master that Dennis scratchbuilt from styrene sheet. The undercarriage is from a Norscot die-cast model. Dennis says he forgot to cut "ruts" in his diorama so he cut and sanded the undercarriage off at an angle to give it a "stuck in the mud" stance. Dennis used Plano "Morton Pattern" brass sheet for the engine covers.
