Fred Gruin built this Ryder Truck Lines Ford W-9000 using a Lindberg Ford cab mounted on an Athearn chassis mated to an Athearn 40' trailer and Ed O'Keefe decals. Fred used Herpa wheels on the steering axles with Atlas on the rest. The air horn and roof a/c unit, stainless steel tubing stack, and air filter intake were all scratchbuilt.
