Here's a very interesting kitbashed crane from Jeffrey Sak. Jeffrey says he'd been working on this model since going to the 2011 East Coast Meet in January 2011; seeing the many different cranes at the show inspired him to try his own. The truck cab is from an Athearn yard tractor the chassis is from a Boley truck. The crane is an old Alloy Forms excavator and the boom was something he had laying around in the parts drawer. The crane outriggers were scratchbuilt from styrene. Added details include the exhaust stack on the crane. The name "Galo" on the truck cab was made from a Brother P-Touch label maker.
