Bert Makkinga built this DAF DO truck from the late 1950s. The model was built from a Focus (made in Holland) resin kit tractor that was in bad shape, so Bert converted it into a straight truck, with a bed scratchbuilt from styrene. The milk cans are from resin and made by Jos Keja (ENGH MODELS) from The Netherlands. Since it was a bad shape model to start with Bert sent it over to his brother Flip in The Netherlands and he weathered it for Bert.
