Jussi Kivi built this Gaz 4x4, a standard light fire appartus from the Soviet Union. A few rural volunteer fire departments in Finland bought also some of these in mid-1950s. They were cheap and at that time there was lack of foreign currency even though the war had ended almost ten years before. Some of these were still in service in the late '70s. The model is ready made, painted resin model from somewhere in Eastern Europe. Jussi says he bought if from Germany but doesn't know the manufacturer. He added some details to make it look like those rigs which were use in his country; a little bit of paint, blue beacon, siren, ladder, mirror etc.
