Randy tells us that he seldom builds a truck model straight from the box. However, this 1922 Packard flatbed truck started with a cab by Jordan Highway Miniatures. The chassis is scratchbuilt with wheels from Circus Craft wagon wheels that Randy modified to simulate prototype wood spoked wheels found on some early trucks. The origin of the vintage traction engine on deck is unknown as it was purchased before 1980 and has been altered by replacing the wheels.
