Miro Stacho built this truck mounted excavator on a Tatra T138 chassis; the model is known as Tatra 138 D-081. The excavator body was made in a Slovakian factory called PPS Detva in 1954. The chassis, cab, and engine are Czech products, made in Tatra factory in Koprivnice. Miro notes, "As you can see, the excavator arm doesn't use [hydraulic] pistons but [steel cables]."
