Randy Sawyer found an illustration of a 1926 Autocar Dump Truck in an out of print book and completed this 1/87 scale dump truck in January of 2011. Spoked wheels came from a Jordan Packard, however the original tires were removed and new simulated balloon tires were fashioned out of plastic tubing. A generous application of dry pigments and chalk along with driver and passenger figures by Preiser add a touch of realism.
