These two photos from Scott Morrison are of a water truck for his Muchalat Timber Company. The model is based on a real truck photographed in Tahsis, except Scott used a Hayes truck instead of a Kenworth. The Hayes is a Don Mills resin kit to which he cut out the side panels of the hood and added in a Masterbilt Models Detroit Diesel 12V-71 engine. The water tank is from Sheepscot which he heavily modified to match the prototype. The valves are N scale brass brake wheels and the hose reel is scratchbuilt from various parts including a woven lead fishing line. The toolboxes over the cab and below the driver's side tank are from Riverpoint Station. The tie down straps were made from masking tape and attached to the frame with Lonestar ratchet tie down anchors.
