Dennis Raper built this terrific Ford NT-950 that started out as a Matchbox "heavy wreck truck". Dennis stripped the paint, repainted it, put it on a Herpa Kenworth chassis that he lengthened, and added an interior from a Boley truck. He then added a windshield, cab lights from an Athearn truck, air horn, antennas, scratchbuilt mirrors, mudflaps, heavy pipe bumpers, scale chain, and a scratchbuilt 5-gallon hydraulic fluid bucket with a handle! Dennis scratchbuilt the Log-Hog Z-100 log loader with the exception of the control valve body, the seat, and the ladder/cab gaurd. The valve body came from a Kibri kit.The seat came from the parts box, and the ladder/cab gaurd is a River Point Station extension ladder cut in half. The loader is poseable in about any position as all of it moves except the grapple, which swings and spins but doesn't open and close. A spectacular model!
