Roger Dowden converted a 1/78th scale Langley Bucyrus-Erie 22-B model kit that he re-configured into a 1/87th scale Bucyrus-Erie 30-B. Roger cut down the track assembly, shortened the boom and gantry, and downsized the bucket. He used old spec sheets for correct measurements to downsize the superstructure. Additional items include a new fabricated counterweight, a brace for the bucket, and a new roof. Roger than added grab handles, gusset plates for the boom and idler pulleys, painted it, and finished it off with some Sheepscot decals.
