One of the most interesting characters attending the 2010 East Coast Meet in Springfield was Texan John Ross. John has been a 1/87 scale vehicle modeler since "the old days!" This is one of John's very early models (from around 1965). This truck was carved from balsa wood. As John says, "...it was that or army trucks."
