Richard Olson built this very nice truss hauler using a Con-Cor/Herpa
International truck tractor with Herpa steerable wheels, A-Line wheels
and tires, scratchbuilt headache rack, toolbox, quarter fenders, hand
grabs, and mudflaps. The trailer is extendable from 28'-35' and utilizes
A-Line wheels and tires; everything else on it is scratchbuilt! The
10 trusses are each made from 20 pieces of scale lumber. Paint is Floquil,
decals from Lonestar Models, and weathering is chalk and dry brush painting
techniques. An extraordinary model! Previously featured in Photo
Gallery 34.
